Theory of Interstellar Trade

I saw an interesting paper on hackernews this morning:

Though tongue in cheek, it is an interesting paper. Feels like a hard science fiction book, rigorously exploring some strange topic. The conversation on hackernews was also interesting, in particular the comments relating to the practicality / value of moving any kind of "physical" goods over interstellar distances. Of course the whole thing reminded me of limit theory, so I'd thought I'd share it here.
