Hmmm, I think it should be a little less geometric than that. Curves are more natural to the eye, as are brushstrokes which differentiate in width along a single stroke. More strokes, less shapes, I say!
Twinkle Twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are,
Hydrogen, Helium, that's about it,
Any more push the theory's limit
Twinkle twinkle little star,
How i wonder what you are.
I think it could be interesting to have 'idealist' factions which strive for a certain way of doing things separate to the Capitalist mindset portrayed in LT. But that would take too much time, I think.
I really liked the Pareidolic Icons which Hyperion suggested, but I feel like things in that style would work even without being specifically pareidolic. The aggressiveness/smoothness of the strokes could indicate general personality, and colour could indicate mood and attitude towards the player.
I quite like the sort which looks a bit like the Millenium Falcon, except the other way around, if you get what I mean. The bulky bit at the front and the tail tapering off a little with separate bits for engines. It seems really cool because you get this huge area at the front to cover with all sor...
It's an Iris projector. The idea is that there's an artificial iris which creates a HUD a couple of centimetres in front of your face, and that HUD is basically a smartphone dash, except more futuristic and holographic looking. The reason that it doesn't just project straight into your eye is that s...
I really like the idea of Classical/Orchestral Music for the space theme. Firstly it's awesome to listen to and very powerful, and secondly it's got a certain irony to it which makes it incredibly fitting.
I think if it's a combat intro it should be specifically following a smaller ship. If Josh gets them to go under the shields to attack larger ships it could be really cool, like a Luke v Death Star scene. Big ships are just too slow for combat cams in my opinion- there needs to be movement! And deat...
I think this would be an amazing addition, but I must say that it should be implemented well or not at all. There's nothing worse than something which is procedurally generated and *obviously* artificial, and language can be extremely hard to mimic. With English structured the way it is, small gramm...
Creating something from first principles is essentially creating something without a prior basis in that higher concept. Basically, inventing something original, in this context.
