I agree, if there is a bounty on someones head, then the bounty is for killing that person, not for hurting-that-person-even-to-a-near-death-experience. If he lives, he lives, if he dies, he dies. In case of "I want you to kill him", then yould just have to check wether you 's actions lead to him 's...
